For over a decade, Beardsgaard has built a reputation far beyond our walls. Wooly wildlings undertake long journeys from distant states and countries to visit these hallowed halls and the legendary barbers therein. The locals tend to walk. Sometimes they bring their good dogs. Sometimes those "dogs" have been horses or piglets or goats or giant snakes.

Our work has been featured on the stage of the National Beard & Moustache Championships and highlighted in regional and national media publications and productions over the years. Shop co-founder Natalie Anderson was part of the inaugural class of Reuzel Scumbassador educators, was featured in The Gentleman’s Guide to Grooming, and you may have seen her work performing on the stages of major Fox Valley theater productions.

That standard of craftsmanship, technical precision, and hospitality with an absurdist flare has shaped Beardsgaard from our first day to today. Because timeless work never goes out of style.
