Continue ShoppingWe're a barbershop that has a grooming product line, but it's all built upon an epic fantasy world, crafted from the fantasy of our world. We also play D&D in it with new game premieres on YouTube at 7 CST on game nights. These are those stories.
When you create stories with friends for the internet, there are some themes and running jokes that keep popping up that demands merch. This is that merch.
Our main campaign below has adventured through Midgard, Jotunheim, Svartalfheim, and many other locations along the way that you may recognize from our house brand River Peak Apothecary's product labels. For a little over a year, we ran more elaborate adventures deep into the lore of other locations in the Realm, with a new cast of characters, guest players, and even in a different time period in the long history of Beardsgaard.
Epic, long-running D&D campaigns are great to play in, but can be hard to keep up with for anyone but the most dedicated nerds. One shots are great, but they don't give a player much time to develop a character.
Now we're doing things a little differently. Each season Beardsgaard brings to you a 3-episode campaign in a brand new lore location, with a new party of heroes, and a new adventure to dive into.

This campaign began for complete fun, which is why the real first episode was never recorded. We thought Dungeons & Dragons would be the most entertaining and immersive way to introduce all of you to the full Realm of Beardsgaard and River Peak Apothecary, but most of all, it's an excuse to get together with friends, nerd out as hard as we can, and technically call it "work."
The early episodes were streamed on Twitch, and while the person running it at the time was experienced in running a stream, our equipment was crap and it shows. If you want to catch up on the game but maybe not all of it, here are some good jumping in points:
There is a 6 month time jump and major location jump between Episodes 10 and 11, so if you want to start out at the beginning of the Jotunheim adventure, start with Episode 11. Episode 14 was the last episode recorded live, as Blademaiden the Realm-builder subbed in for our former stream-runner and she could not hack it with all that live pressure. Episode 15 we tried something a little different, with good cameras, decent microphones, and no pressure of a live stream. That allowed us to up our production values signficantly in post-production, getting into a real groove and proper format by Episode 19.
In Episode 31 our heroes reach the capitol of the Giants, where you’ll get filled in on the big plot events of the campaign, a perfect plot-based recap. If you just wanna get down to endgame, Episode 40 takes us to the mountain border between the frozen lands of the Giants and the spooky blighted kingdom of the Night Elves for a weird time with dragons before continuing on to the end of the world.
